I've said it before and I'll say it a thousand times. The old Rune/Mastery system's only major flaw was that good Runes costed an arm and a leg in IP. Every other issue was easily fixable. The issue with being intimiating to new players could have been fixed by them providing recommended pages like they do nowadays. Stuff like that. Even the issue of IP cost could have been fixed if they'd just lowered the costs (or just made them free or practically free). I absolutely agree that the old system was much more customizable and encouraged experimentation and struck a good balance between useful but not so impactful that it changed a matchup at a fundamental level. I think the Keystones being added was the beginning of the end for this system. I like the idea of a capstone to a tree that rewards investment, like an RPG, but those having strong synergies with certain champions fundamentally messes with the balance of the game. Thunderlord's Decree, Courage of the Colossus, etc were clearly the best choices for a lot of champions and limited your incentive to experiment by a lot. Some keystones were generally useful for a lot of types of champions, like Stormraider's Surge, but that was more the exception than the rule. Then Runes Reforged came around and doubled down on that problem.

I still don't get why she massively slow an opponent's attack and move speed even after she fucks up and mis times her parry. Why on earth is can she still get something good out of a failed parry?

Just remove flowers giving shield and cdr and severely nerf the heal (ie takin g damage while healing isn;t worth it. Increase portal cd and have a short stun on exit. Im 10 days late to this… he makes skarner sound like such an issue but then is so happy about lux getting buffs one shotting you harder than usual. Yes you can dodge lux abilities which I guess is the difference as skarner is much harder to avoid

If you are playing fit of the month you don't know how to play literally you just read the runes. Terrible advice disregard everything you heard. He hyper focused on ultra specific cases like cc boots, and also generalized with something like "finish boots first lol". The reason people stray from nasher is because low elo games normally have 2-3 bot players and trying to take nasher in those cases is feeding 5. Draven, Mord, yi, ww, and countless others are cheese in low elo cause people don't know what anti heal is. Those guys don't only play those champs they only play those champs on that account to avoid bs when learning toons. The idea you should know the cds for 150 legends is silly. Jungle is important, but not as important as support. A bad support throws/leeches a lane for 2 players. Bad mental is a personal problem you should never mute your team because teams communicate. Especially if you are in duo lane and have to babysit your partner. The only good advice in this was make sure you last hit and understand its value. There was one other bit of good advice that he mentioned only casually and not as advice lol. Nice editing though.

What happens when your team decides to do anything but what you mentioned in the video? Like the bot who picked Brand that I just supported. Sure, we won lane, he was carrying till mid game super easily. In late game he was getting demolished by the adc and we had no one to consistently do damage to objectives because of his pick. Like, Im sure some of you Brand players will say you could carry the game easily and maybe he could have if he knew how to position himself and didnt die face checking bushes that they just dewarded right before elder drake. Like sure, on the long run you will climb but league is a game that punsishes everyone for the mistakes of one single individual and that just sucks. And I bet that Brand went to sleep looking at his damage charts thinking "my team sucks" but he was the one getting caught mispoisitioned and demolished in team fights before the fight even began. This game is absolute trash, I just lost like 4 or 5 games in a row with absolute idiots who decide to run it down mid like an heca that was 1/10 on minute 10. He was just respawning, going straight mid, find the first champ and engage completely disregarding any game sense whatsoever. Like, the best advice this video should be giving is "uninstall the game". League is not a fun game if you mean to take it seriously and if you don't, chances are you are the one ruining matches for everyone else.

Problem with Baron is that by the time it spawns most people are just tunel visioning on wtv the heck they are doing and you can never coordinate a low elo team to decide to go for Baron unless everyone on the enemy team is dead. I tried, I ping, I ward, I ping some more but they all ignore and or ping that one guy that is alive, even if he is on the opposite side of the map. Its the most frustrating thing ever when I play jungler.
